Lol Mouldy, oddly we've had frosts but the pond was ok, well till this morning ... It's got half inch thick ice today..

Thanks Kat, it's a rescue home for unwanted or stray dogs/cats you can go down there and adopt a pet sort of thing.

Does "adopting" mean, that you have got her forever or that you can take her from time to time from rescue home and you pay for her meals?

We have her forever, you pay for the adoption and take her home so she is ours now.
