Another lovely shade of pink Amy....I wish my chionodoxas were like yours...mine are really pale, almost white. I wonder if they were wrongly labelled now....oh well. :)

This is new Brian ,I haven't put out into the garden yet Angela I'm waiting for it to warm up a little , The Chionodoxas do come in different shades Karen I have some white ones also some blue is this the first year for yours ?

Thanks Chris / Carole / Kat at the moment it's 5c ... .... -1 last night the suns shining this morning but a very cold wind chill , this plant is staying in my greenhouse until it warms up outside .......

I supposed it is warmer as you have so many flowers blooming. We have 5-8 C but nothing is blooming. Even my Viburnum bodnatensae, which normaly blooms in Feb is still "waiting".

it's been recorded that it has been the coldest winter ever on record Kat , no wonder we are so slow to start :o(

Did you have this record? We didn´t have that record. Our meteorologists said it wasn´t the coldest winter, but was rich on downfalls. We had lot of snow in Jan, Feb and in March. But temperatures weren´t so low as couple of years ago, when it dropped to minus 25 Celsius for several weeks. This year my recorded deepest minimum in this region was minus 12 d Celsius. According to our record the longest winter was in 1875.
Definitely these changes are nothing unusual.

I'm no weather expert Kat I only know what was reported on the news for the U.K , it was reported as being the coldest Easter on record and that the average temp. was colder than Lapland ...... Brrr I'm pleased to see the sunshining today !

It was sunny here today Kat Perhaps spring has sprung at last ,I hope so , I didn't think so this morning when I woke up I thought it had been snowing again it was white with frost !
I'm sorry we missed you to Leigh , I'm so sad you have lost little Sid you will miss him badly your little group is getting smaller but still enough to keep you warm take care xxx Have you seen a photo of Kats Noris Leigh ? you would love him :o))
