Love it! seen two of our boxes being cleaned out too. and have a couple of blackbirds nest building and a hedge sparrow in different shrubs in the garden, very special to see them building and even more special to watch them feeding and fledging.

Lovely to have them back ... we have a pair of Great Tits in one of our nest boxes ... saw a huge Pigeon sitting atop of it the other day ... the Tits must have thought there was an earthquake ... :o)

It looks a bit of a squeeze! Happy new home blue tit :o)

You're right geranium! No wonder it was pecking at the hole. it needs the services of a woodpecker!

Thank you everyone. Shirlwhirl....could it be the way it is facing? It's one always attracts interest. It faces west, and there are no food sources too close by attracting possible invaders. That can be an issue as well. I hope you get some visitors this year!

Wonderful shot Karen! I moved our little bird box to a west facing wall about a month ago so fingers crossed that works for me too.

Well captured. I have a wee family of them moved into part of the eaves in the house. I will wait until they are gone and get the hole sorted. This will be great entertainment for you in the weeks ahead!
