Thank you Louisa, I have actually been out there today, dividing up one of my large hostas, The pot was falling apart so decided to smash it and divide up. Had to call on a neighbour to help me as I couldnt get the spade through it.

Thanks Terra, sorry about the grass, needs cutting but couldnt get around to that today.

Yes Cinders, it is coming back to life...and I think Goyers will be too!

Lots of colour Cinders, Hostas can be a devil once they get their roots down, glad your neighbour could help.

Karen I have noticed already not many Goyers on here till the evening now that they can get out again.

DD that Hosta was so hard, I felt like taking a saw to it.

This is the type of garden I would like! It is very colourful, is there much work attached to keeping it like that?

Thank you Cmenome, well there is not so much work to it now as I have it planted with mostly perennials that take care of themselves, except for a trim and tidy up, unless I want to change anything of course. But this has developed over many years and many changes.
