funny how they seem to walk round in threes in spring!

The two Males were fighting over the female Sticki I nearly had to take my broom out to settle things :o)

have they started making any sort of nest amy? perhaps i mean are they looking as if they are settling anywhere as they dont seem to make nests!

I haven't seen any signs of nesting Sticki , there's a pond further along the ditch out of our sight I believe they come up from there ...

I think they would be much happier in my pond. :o))

No they wouldn't , the thought of orange sauce makes them feel quite sick :o( they are happy here :o))

Ha ha look at them.....now can't you tell which is the girl....beak wide open..yak..yak.....she's certainly calling the tune....lol! Hope they nest near your kitchen Amy, duck eggs are great for baking...:))

I'm glad you enjoyed seeing them , Janey the reason the girly was squawking was because the boys were at her both hanging onto her tail feathers I'm surprised she has any left , they only stopped when I tapped on the window ..then they took off at top speed after her again . ... Duck eggs Mm there's a thought :o)
