New growth from last year ......usually it is trimmed but thought the new growth looked so attractive against the sky, decided to let it grow.

Yours is tall.........a very striking plant, have a good clump in our garden.

i have this julia to, the black its lovely, i planted mine into a large container then burried the container to stop it spreading to much, seems ok to date :o))
