Hyacinths..

Bootiful!! but they are top heavy aren't they Bloomer. I have some in my garden and they are lovely this year. Have you been somewhere nice and warm on holiday?!!!!

They are so pretty and must smell wonderful.

That's what I was expecting,Amy and Chris..a lovely scent..but I can't even get a whiff of anything ! mind you,I have a head cold which seems to have gone on forever.so Olbas oil might be masking it ! Lol..but OH has a good sense of smell,and hasn't noticed anything either..I thought all Hyacinths had perfume..

My OH came from Bournemouth so we know it very well, but over the years it has changed so much that even my husband has a job to find his way around with all the road changes!! Where he used to know all the 'short cuts' thaty are no more!!!
It is a lovely place though, and all around the area I love.
We lived between Poole and Bournemouth at Parkstone when we were first married.
Glad you managed to get a warm spell with all this cold weather at the moment!

We stayed on the East Cliff,Shirl..nice area,and a short stroll to look at the sea..from a height!..we didn't have time to walk to Boscombe..maybe another time :o)We did have a trip to Poole,via Sandbanks..but we decided against buying a house,or a boat there ! Lol.
