I can't resist alpines as they are so sweet. I tend to put just 3 in a shallow pot. I am not always successful with them but I don't intend to give up just yet!

in a very small space if that's all you can spare,raised up off the ground where they can be appreciated, secret is to avoid big rock plants which spread out fast and suffocate the small treasures.
