That's a spectacular tree peony! I love this shrub, and wish I could grow it here! (it's too warm in winter here in San Diego, CA., though).

I didn't know you can't grow peonies in CA. It must be one of the very few plants you can't grow there!!

Peonies can be grown in California; however, not in San Diego, because it's much too warm in winter to satisfy its chilling requirements.
