Hope there's no snake tomorrow so you can find out the name of your rose, it's very beautiful.

I would name it "EveĀ“s apple", lol. Looks like French portland rose Comte de Chambord, but those are slightly more pale.

Smells really nice Katarina. I bought three different roses this past autumn all with a 5 star in smell.

William Shakespeare rose opened up today.....I will take a picture tomorrow.

A little snake is not going to hurt you! lol! :>) Just kidding!

Do you have venomous snakes there. We have rattle snakes here which are a big problem here. They are venomous, but all the hospitals carry the antidote.

There is only one venomous snake on Corfu.... the
Nose-Horned Viper.......I hope I never see it up close or even near by!!!
At least rattle snakes give you a warning before they strike.!

Oh, how I wish you were correct! So many pets and people get bitten each year by rattlesnakes. They love to curl up in people garages. Last year was a very unusual year for rattlesnakes because they found so many very close to the coast. They bit people and pets hiking pretty close to the beaches (which is rare). They typically like it further away from the coast (where it's hotter and drier).
