Blood Root

After the flowers, the foliage is gorgeous, big, flat and really lovely shapes, and it lasts for a long time.

So pretty! (never heard of Blood Root - does it have another name??)

That's whiter than white! Very pretty ... not sure I like the name though ... :o(

If you break the root, it oozes dark red sap...hence the name.
