I got a little one today!! £6 from Dobbies. I've put it in the ground so if it perishes I can get another for a pot. I want to see if I can get another one to survive in the ground. Lovely San!

karen bargain and i think as long as its in sheltered spot yours shopuld do well in ground, my red acer is great in the ground but cant make my mind up if to plant this one or not.

I have this one too San....been in a pot for about 4 years, repotted once, i might try it in the ground..:>)

San ours is planted in the ground and it is a tree now....

thanx Amy, shame your morrisons dont stoke the same, maybe you should send them an email to head office and suggest a better plant section, cant harm :o)
Moti, im sure it will be fine in the ground, after 4 years it should be well established :o)
