I am sorry to hear that Brian. All these are most probably consequencies of a long stay in incubator with high oxygen. My second cousin was very good in operating hearing implants until he got infarction, so now he doesn´t operate any more. People can hear with them as if they never had any hearing deficit. People wrote him letters how they can listen to birds and music again.
I believe, he will see your fisherman and your garden too, Brian. All the best wishes.
