I love these. I don't have any, having decided to go 'Alliumtastic' this year, but these are wonderful!

I find camassias are great up to and including flowering time, then you've got those big, floppy leaves dying away. Just be aware and mind they don't smother something small, and choice

I have the blue one I haven't seen the white one before , you are right about the leaves Andrew mine are doing that dying bit right now !

just bought one of these and planted it up round the pond so maybe it won't matter about the leaves when they die off because its all a bit 'wild' and other 'wild' plants will take over. Couldn't resist it, never seen one before.

They do have the same problem as Allium leaves, which we tend to hide by growing other plants around them....
K they remind me of Eremurus in a way, which we grow also, same problems with the leaves though.
Amy I will certainly buy some more they are perfect for the rose border.......
Pam it will be perfect there, I am sure.

I agree about the floppy leaves, but grown in with the Acidantera or Lilies they tend not to be noticed.
The larger leaves of my Alliums are more challenging to hide.
