Looks very tall Hywel, you must have had it years, how do you overwinter it?, Derek.

It is 2.5 feet tall (that does not include the pot)
I have had it since about 1975 and I keep it in the conservatory during the winter :o)
When I bought it, it was about an inch tall :o)

Wow! I don't want to sound offensive, Hywel, but it does remind me a bit of something from "Embarrassing Bodies"! Extraordinary.

My friends is like that. She has had hers a long time too n keeps hers in the greenhouse with other cacti. This one flowers every year. I love cacti but not very lucky with them x
