Phacelia

Grown from free seeds to encourage bees. So far I have seen one bee on it although there have been plenty in the garden, first on the pyracantha blossom and now among other plants. I await the invasion optimistically :)

I grew these last year they were in a box of wild flower seeds, it was a really disappointing box this being the only plant that grew! I hope the bees find it for you soon :o)

Less bees around the garden this year Gee. Though I do have a very good set on the pears and some apples this year. Shortage of water is a looming problem. No proper rain for weeks and now this heat. It is lovely to have doors and windows open. Too hot for us two oldies to have car trips out. So just as trapped as wintertime.....try not to complain but find I am moaning!

I have plenty of bees, Dorjac, they seem to have a nest in the ground down by the shed and object every time I go into it :) I wonder if you are having cooler weather today - this morning was bright and sunny and has now clouded over and quite windy.

Thank, PP and Neellan. They are a pretty colour so I hope they self seed for next year.
