This is a flower spike from one of the green 'unnamed' ones I bought early last year. Lovely bright flowers :)

I think you are right, Dorjac, I saw a photo of Firefly on the web yesterday and it was just like my photo. I think it has the prettiest flowers of all my heuchera :)

Dorjac has solved the problem for both of us, Annella :) It certainly is a very vibrant little flower.

Firefly is an older Heuchera Gee and Paris more recently bred. The flowers on Paris are very red and stems longer. The leaves are near identical. I suppose a lot of gardeners love Heucheras for their leaves. I seem to remember my mum grew something like Firelfly and called it London Pride. There is a small front garden on the way to Tesco express and it is crammed with Firefly. Not a weed can get through!

I suspect mine is maybe Firefly then as it was from my mum's garden and she has had it for years :o))

I have London Pride in my garden, Dorjac, both variegated and green. It is a Saxifraga. I remember it from my Mum's garden too :)

Suggest Paris or Firefly Gee.
