Ah. Thank goodness...I did wonder!

I had a tree die on me this year!! - well shrub I suppose.
It was one of those Pineapple trees, the flowers really smell like pineapple and it was doing so well last year!!
It was about 4 years old.

That's a real pity! I have five of them, and so far they have been indestructible! I love them and they make excellent screening as they are almost fully evergreen....even up here! mine are just starting to flower now....gorgeous!

I have no idea why mine died. It is next to a big acacia tree, maybe that took all the goodness and water!!!
My neighbour's (she gave me the plant in the first place) is going strong this year!

What a pity. Never mind Shirl. Acacia is beautiful! Perhaps your tree was diseased.

beautiful sunset.... i spotted the ivy climbing up the trees.

It would be nice if we could be caretakers of the trees and keep that ivy under control...

No probs Janeplant, you could be right! I haven't walked along by those recently, so there might be ivy.
I took this pic on zoom from my back garden, so they are not that close to me!
Eagle eye you, if there is ivy on them!!
