This is lovely Cinders.... my standard is not growing very well at all,I've fed it, I talk to it... what compost do you use, any tips would be appreciated!! :-(((((

Wildrose - I think I shall have to bring it indoors for the winter, as the last standard I had didn't survive in my cold greenhouse, even though I protected it best I could.

Gralew, no secrets, ordinary multi purpose with a little growmore when I planted it up, and plenty of watering.

Thanks Cinders, not done anything wrong then, perhaps a slow grower, when it does flower, they are very small.Will over winter in the shed, although mine is hardy, and see what what happens next summer
