Makes a statement does not it?

Thank you Klahanie . . . it was possibly prettier when surrounded by white and purple Petunias, but now quite handsome on its own :)

I love it on its own Sheila. It is a handsome plant.

Grand! Lovely colour, would look great surrounded with bronze grasses and purple verbena!

What a stately looking plant. Do they need protection from frost in the winter? I am asking because I think I lost one many moons ago.

Yes, they do need protection Chris. We nearly always put a Cordyline in this dish - red, variegated, whatever appeals each year - and they ARE difficult to keep frost-free. But we have another in the ground, in a very sheltered spot, and that grows new shoots each Spring: perhaps the plain green ones are a mite hardier?
