one didn't do well..only a very few flowers. I'm not taking any roses with me. I shall get the best performers again.

yes. The soil looks very grey and dusty...like it hasn't had a feed for about a hundred years! I think some organic matter is required before anything goes in! Luckily, my friend with the small holding has a trailer, and her Mum has horses!

Olive I just love it too, gorgeous colour and shape, I going to buty a couple of new one for next year will certainly look out for this on;0)

I trained this one as a climber at the other place, Barbara . It was too old to be moved though. Its lovely !

It has quite a trailing habit doesn't it Rose. Pleased with it this year, best it has been for me, but the weather has been good for our plants hasn't it!

It certainly has, the roses are now putting on a second flush - think this lovely weather has encouraged them to keep on flowering. :O)
