Alexandra, I wondered about your statement "It is my palm" in Roy's previous picture. Now I know. Love the name but I think I already complimented you in the past on it.
I think the palm is on much better position now.
That is a cute little cabin there Roy.

Klahanie,
There are loads and loads of palm seedlings every year. I could make a fortune if I sold them. ;o)

So that's where this palm came from.
Alex, you must feel good to have this palm named after you.
I didn't realize W. robusta grew wild in Corfu, like here in San Diego. I should have guessed, though.

Yeap..........I do feel good. ;o)))))))))
W. robusta............great, Roy wanted to know the name of this palm.
Do you think he can leave it out during winter?
If anything goes wrong, he has nothing to worry about. He can always take a new seedling next spring.
My seedling is huge now.......I will take a pic of it when I clear that side of the garden of weeds.

Alexandramou:
If it doesn't get too cold, Roy's W. robusta should grow and thrive. As it grows larger, it will become hardier...and even if the fronds die-back it most likely will grow new fronds very quickly.
It very difficult to speak about cold-damage on W. robusta here in San Diego's frost-free, subtropical climate...as it would never get cold enough to damage this palm.
