Ours have all been cut right back, they were getting too big to cope with, love this pink one.

Dotty is this the best time to cut them back...This one is getting leggy and could do with a trim....

The best time to cut Bougainvillea back is after it blooms.

Here it blooms again right after a big pruning.

I will wait a while then...........

It's will be a good idea, especially if you want the flower bracts to last.

Milky - we used to have one of these: it lived happily in our (unheated) greenhouse, but died when we brought it indoors! How long have you had yours?

Had this one about 4 years now........
