That's a beautiful Ficus microcarpa!
It's amazing the wall is still standing. Here this tree is very widely grown and always lift the sidewalks, walls or fences.

Yes, extremely popular here, too. However, old trees grow much too large for most properties. The old F. microcarpa trees in Balboa Park (which are 100 years old or slightly older) are massive. The surface roots are much larger than me.
