This is such a beautiful scene and I love Vermont State - the alpine forest, mountains - breathtaking. I was there last year - horseback riding, canoeing, mountain climbing and got a jug of maple syrup.

It is very mild here in the UK at the moment. The snow looks wonderful.

It's extremely cold here, and more snow coming. I hope this is not an omen for the rest of the winter. Actually, we can deal with the snow, it's the ice that gets us.

Wells, that's what I was thinking when it snowed on Tuesday, and yes more snow over the weekend. This a good time for hot apple pie, beef stew, etc.
