Thanks. Fortunately, the floods haven't quite got that high, so the new defences haven't been tested. I hope they don't get tested, either! Having a flooded garden is bad enough...it's scary. :-(

No - they'll be left alone there. That's why I have that little bed of them round the birches - they thrive because they don't get disturbed.
