Good idea ... but you may need more than one for all your visitors! Have you set the opening dates yet?

Shirley we open one day in June and one in July also we are taking private bookings....
Just tried the cake, and we both thought it was lovely, like the almond flavour, (found a bottle of French almond extract from Morrie's in the cupboard!)
K we use a lot of dried fruit use it on porridge or as a dessert with custard etc.

Cake looks delicious. Hope we have a good summer weather wise for all the open gardens. For the past two years Belper town council have asked ordinary gardeners to open their gardens together so that people can go on a garden trek around the town. I don't know yet if it will happen this year, haven't heard anything so far.

That's a lovely way of building a community isn't it Linda. I hope you will all manage to continue, with or without the council's leadership. It does happen in Scotland, but rarely around here.

Shirley that would be wonderful, the dates are 21 June and the 19th July 2 ~6, shall I start baking now?

Lol Dotty - Saturdays won't be so easy now as M has returned to work - but I could always let the train take the strain! :o)

You don't have to come on our open day, the Sunday would be fine, I am sure there will still be cake, it would count as a private visit.
