Making changes

The start of my garden revamp - the slabs have been laid to check the layout (it has changed a couple of times already) but I think this is the best. All the grass will go except for the centre bit which I'm keeping for the tortoises. If it gets too damaged throughout the year I can easily replace it with a roll or two of turf! Lots of work ahead - all I need is good weather and energy - and lots more plants. I've already bought some new ones, can divide others and have lots of seeds to scatter about :)

Thank you :) I've taken a day off today, a bit windy and drizzly here so I am baking instead. Amy, there is only a duo now - Little 'Un died a few years back now. Josie and Jubilee are doing fine and had their first outing on Sunday when it was really warm. They are back indoors under the heat lamp today :)

I had a feeling something happened Gill but I couldn't quite remember what ,I bet Josie & Jubilee loved there first foray outside and are looking forward to warmer days they will be nibbling your plants before you know it Lol ...

Don't hold your breath,SK, it's rather slow going, after a few hours I can hardly straighten up but it's getting there. Trouble is, I never know when to stop and am making the most of the sunshine. Thanks, PP and Shirley, I hope it works out :)

Lawns around here are full of moss!!! Extra flowers will be lovely and your tortoises will enjoy their grass area.

My front lawn is spongy and squelchy still, Linda, but I hope the sunshine will continue for a while and sort it out for me!

Everyone is having a bit of a revamp this year, looking good Gee, can't wait to see it all finished, at least the weather is on your side....as you say all you need is the energy!! I know what you mean!!
