Beautiful, we bought a couple of Prunus last year, but they did not flower well, this year the one tree has lots of blossom, hope it looks as pretty as yours.

Fantastic, so early!
Why I still think that Cottagekare is Stickitofee? Because she is always the first to comment!!!

Karen, no this has just come into flower, I think it may be the one to the right here cerasifera, purple leaved plum.
Yes aren't we lucky Gee, what a fantastic week so far...:))
Aw Amy, been at Mum in laws today, she's poorly, so been busy inside. Sat outside with my mum later though and was it warm! It's her 92nd today!
This warm sun has certainly brought the blossoms out Dd, hope yours is doing better. This one really grew well last year, I think it's established at last!
Thanks Katerina! Ha ha....well they do sound similar :-\

We were out around Oxfordshire the other day & the huge amount of white blossom in the hedgerows everywhere was amazing.
Don't know what it is though, - is it hawthorn or blackthorn or what?!!
Someone on GOY will know. :))

Thanks Amy...:))
I think it's maybe Blackthorn Shirley, plenty of sloes later then.....:))

Could well be Janey, but I never use the sloes!!
We don't live in Oxon, but no doubt there would be plenty in Gloucestershire!
My daughter has used them in the past for the Sloe Gin!!
