I've been trying to find "realistic life size animal ornaments" but Google will keep insisting on showing me pics of rabbits in wellies, and other such "realistic" offerings - I'd like to dot a few around, move them now and then so that they're just visible if one looks in the right direction.

Yes it is Amy ! I have a few animal ornaments dotted around , but the squirrel is my favourite and most realistic one apart from two foxes !
Fran, all the ornaments have been bought from Garden Centres .

That a lovely rich colour Rose. Love the squirrel. We only get grey ones in our garden ...... and unfortunately they're the real variety. <]:-))
