whens the best time to prune an Acer Karen?

I pruned mine today sandra, repotted some and gave them a watering, they are all in bud :) Ice and frost forecasted tonight tho grrr..
Is that a Colocasia behind the lovely healthy looking gunnera DD?

Sorry Sandra, I've never pruned an Acer, but the folk at the Four Seasons Garden prune theirs all the time to keep them small.

YDD not a Colocasia but a Zantedeschia they make massive plants here.....my Colocasias are all inside.....
Simbad it is nice that your daughter is in to gardening.....ours could do with some dividing lol
