Lysichiton americanus (Skunk Cabbage)

On the pond edge. I was hoping this would have been bigger this year following the mild winter. I'll give it another year and then try moving it.

Kathy, you love Harrogate, dont you. At Harlow Carr, are there huge clumps of this? Thru, they call the yellow part a flower spathe and it has a spike of flowers within.
