Just hoping that the frost won't get these new bracts :)

Thanks for cheering me up, Bloomer, lol! Yes, a frost is forecast, but at least there'll be plenty more bracts to come . .

Lol,Sheila..at least we know there will lots more.but isn't it annoying after not having a hard winter ?

Very Bloomer, I'm just waiting for the devastation on all the young growth. I cannot remember such a mild winter, my garden cannot believe it!
Nice Sheila, love to see the red tinges (no brown tinges, thank you)

Sheila, we had a hard frost last week but not too much damage, well enough but hey ho, how about you?

Hi Sheila...
I forgot to ask ... did the foliage get damaged by the frost ?
27 Mar, 2014
Yes, Dawnsaunt and Terra . . . we had a very hard frost a few days ago, and the bracts did get the frost! However, I'm very relieved that the Amelanchier buds escaped . . . no explaining it.

Frost does sometimes seem to attack just in 'pockets' ... and other areas of the garden escape !

My Amelanchier seems OK too but the Camellia flower is brown, not sure if the buds will still flower.

You're probably right, Terra.
I'm hoping your Camellia will be OK Dawnsaunt . . .
