Aaaah now I grew this from seed last year, swapped the seed as Vipers Bugloss which is the same thing isn't it?, hopefully they'll flower this year they have made a very prickly rosette of leaves, glad the bees love them too :-)

You are right - Vipers Bugloss. But your Brunnera is known as Siberian Bugloss. Wear gloves when you handle any parts of it - there are fine hairs that can irratate your skin. Also keep an eye on it to see if it needs staking. It will just fall over due to being top heavy & wind. I cut the flower heads off after it flowers, and sometimes it flowers a second time. Here it is perennial.
