This tree is right at our front door and kept at very formal form. It is full if buds just starting to open.
Too bad it does not have scent.

So beautiful. I have planted two in my garden 1-3 years ago. Any of them bloom :-( I do not know what is the problem - it is in shady area, irrigates regularly, the soil added there is acidic. These are so beautiful.

Our soil is acidic as well Katarina. It is a very beautiful tree. I love the fact that it is evergreen. I planted couple of years ago another one ("Elsie Jury"...my avatar) but it does not bloom yet either. But it is only couple feet tall now.It looks healthy, though. Does yours look healthy otherwise?
Thank you Scottish for your comment. I have never found any scented either.

Make sure they are well Watered throughout the summer, something we don't need to worry about in Scotland... Lol!
Most of mine have now been in the garden 3 years and this year is the first time for flowering, albeit with just a few each but it's a start!

It's beautiful. That's the downside to Camellias - very few have a scent. Or at least the ones I've found don't!
