Fully open now Val, but I do rather like it better at the inbetween stage when there are lots of big fat pink buds;0)

that is so pretty, I know exactly what you mean, think it has something to do with the depth of colour in the buds, I have one that I feel exactly the same about. After saying that it is very very pretty. Love it. :O)

I like all Rhodies when they are half in bud and half in flower...have to agree with you Carole. :) Mum is right, it's the depth of colour you get in the buds and the contrast of bud and flower colour.

Thankyou Wid Rose it is really in full bloom now , I am going to give it a trim once it finishes flowering, to keep it under control [its in the front garden and as much as I love it I dont want it taking over ;0))

It was stunnning they just take your breath away. Trouble is when the flowers go I always think they look a bit tatty.
