Wow, that is so dense, Neellan. Do you prune it at all? I have 2 quince but they are quite spindly, perhaps I should do some pruning. I would like them to look like yours :)

Thank you Gee yes they are pruned usually in autumn as they edge a path, they are big bushes growing over a wall they must be at least 20years old they were here when I moved in. :o)

Thank you Bloomer they are beautiful and right next to this one is the Phlox and Saxifrage in pale pink you would think they would clash but I love them together :o)

Anything goes,in my garden anyway..just nice to see lots of colour..:o)

Thanks, Neellan, I have never touched mine, they are on a low fence so tend to sprawl. They would look much nicer more compact so I will give them a prune in the autumn.

I agree Bloomer sometimes colours just work with each other regardless :o)

Hopefully they will thicken up for you Gee, In the RHS good plant guide they say trim lightly after flowering, and shorten side shoots to two or three leaves if grown against a wall or fence, I thought I'd best check for you as I just do things when I think about them and that's not always recommended!! :o)
