Thank you Bloomer, it is so unfussy I don't do anything special to it, it grows on the trellis with a rambling rose :o)

I only have one Clematis,called Elsa Spath..lots of buds this year,and a similar colour to yours..growing up a trellis on the stone wall..it looks like a good year for them.Mine wasn't brilliant last year..

I don't know that one Bloomer I've lost my Montana I think there is no sign of it by the other Rose trellis but all the others have lots of buds so I think you're right a good year for them! :o)
