Yes, and she carries on flowering for ages if you dead-head. :-))

How pretty it looks! :-)) I often find that simple single flower like these are more beautiful than the modern hybrid cousins which loose some of the daintiness in getting bigger flowers.
I used to buy the big, hybrid Crocuses when I first got a job & had my own money, After a few years I saw the "Species" Crocuses for the first time in a shop & bought a bag, when they flowered the following spring I was hooked for life on them, I just couldn't go back to the big Dutch flowers any more! Since then I've found it to be true of other species of plants!

I think you're right, Balcony. Sometimes smaller, less flamboyant flowers are prettier and more 'dainty' with a definite charm of their own. :-))

Here at last Barbara, thanks:-) She is lovely and dainty, does she look lovely from far away? I am going to buy some after I come back from France (19th May). I think this year I'll just stick annuals in the birdbath, but next year I'll take out some of the grit in the pedastal to allow for a bit more compost which should allow more space for perennial roots:-)

Yes, she's such a 'luminous' colour, and quite tall, I can spot her in the border quite easily. :-) Dying to see the birdbath planted up! I got some gold-leaved white Bacopa yesterday - that would look lovely trailing over the edge. :-))

Ooooh what colour are the flowers? I have discovered that bacopa root where they touch so have some tiny white ones which I have severed from the parent plant (I know....cruel) and stuck in the bird bath. These are ones which survived the winter in the corner urn:-)

White - and the plants are really pretty! :-)) Yes, some of mine survived, as did some pretty Nemesia!
