patch of irises

Beautiful. I have almost the same colour of Irises. Last year I took two bulbs from my aunt. I wonder, if they spread by roots by years or I will have to buy some more in order to have a large patch like you have.

They do spread Katarina. I would not buy more, unless you want a different colour

Thanks Simbad for liking them. I have several patches of different colour irises. The previous owner must have loved them...or maybe because they are deer "proof".

The clump is actually little bigger(to the right) This is more of a close-up. Glad you like it Scottish.
