Stroller, I have made it especially for the wildlife and just wish more to see. Many years ago there were lots of hedgehogs who used to arrive for their supper but just see one sometimes now. Some gardens were sold off to developers and we lost so much. All the bats disappeared when the trees in the garden alongside mine had old trees removed. Lots of old houses with very large gardens sold to developers and so more & more houses with tiny gardens and no place for the wildlife. I try to compensate by planting as many trees and shrubs as I can and I leave a number of wild plants like Linaria Purpurea, hedge garlic (within reason) and have lots of ground cover.

Nice to have the space to be able to do that - you have a mini wildlife reserve there! Hope the fox doesn't leave his smell behind for you.
