Thanks Julia, Hi Karen, it's Cedrus deodara. Love it, you could enjoy it for around 15 to 20 years before it got too big. We took the top out of ours to slow it down a bit, ruined the shape initially but lovely again now, I wouldnt recommend doing that.

Hello Kathy, they are about 15 foot tall now. We bought them as half standards so they've always been this shape, only need light trimming ;-)

Beautiful arrangement of trees and free space. I see you have Himalayan cedar (left side of the photo). Is it acer tree in the front?

Thanks Katrina. Yes love this cedar. The dark yellow shrub left back corner is a golden elder (sambucus), the red one is Acer crimson king and the gold tree at the front is one of the acer drummondii.

You don't need flowers with such a beautiful variety of colours ,it's stunning Dawn !
