I began to think I would need a bigger feeder, Holly :)

Lovely picture Gee. The baby birds have been swarming over the hulled sunflower seed feeder. They gobbled around a kilo in just a few days. Sparrows, finches, and the odd blue or great tit. Strange I havn't seen many tits this year. Lots of new starlings but none so young as your photo, they are so cute. Joined at the wing so to speak. The murmerations should be spectacular this year.

oh, nice. lovely to see that they had a successful hatching, and managed to bring up the kids at least this far.
Are they standard suet-fat balls? birds round here seem to turn up their beaks at the ones I've put out.

The suet balls were a large tub from the GC - half price when I got them. I usually make my own during the winter months but these were too good a price to miss. Even the squirrel eats them! Persevere, Fran, I'm sure you will soon get some takers :)
