Those look like succulents. I love them. I've got a few of those little containers. I think I bought them with a plant inside. They're good for camouflaging ugly plastic pots :)

That's right Hywel, got quite a collection going now, lots more in bottom g'house one even has a flower forming, I like the aluminium pots as the succulents stand out more...

Thankyou Bathgate, little trike was xmas gift 2yrs ago, just realised everything on the shelf were gifts except the succulents...
Sandra it was worth it, I was temped to hang it inside but I already get told off for the amount of plants there are indoors..The shelf is part of a recycled pine headboard, my square veggie bed behind the g'house is also made from the same bed, lol....

I love that, Lincs. have just had another look and can see the headboard now - brilliant recycling.

Start dropping hints now, Lincs, that should give him time to get the message lol!

impressive. I had some small plants in something similar, but not as good, home-made, and i worried about the ones at the back getting enough light. mind you, my old garden was quite shaded anyway

I think its lovely Fran but was a fool as there was a beauty at our local garden show a few weeks back, it was a pine wooden one, twice the size of mine, also cheaper, I know this one is wrought iron so probably last longer but I wish I'd taken hubby down the meadows that day to show him, I couldn't remember the name on the side of the van afterwards so could not trace the supplier, he got me this one instead.....

alwyas the way, isn't it??
I found a thing called Allotment Ladders - stepped shelving of various heights, one-sided to lean against a wall or A-frame - and some with liners for planting into rather than standing pots on

Thanks Karen, I just have to find somewhere to overwinter them all, guess it will have to be one of the g'houses and hope for the best...
