14 year old Guy with his Nepita 'six hills giant'

He is a lovely cat Bloomer and apart from his over active thyroid he is doing really well for his age.

What a high nepeta! Do you have it on a full sun?

Yes it is in full sun - its one of the bigger types Katarina. I cut it back hard after flowering as it could become a very large plant.

I didn t know, that Nepeta exists in different varieties. This flower is loved by cats, isn t it?

One of my cat stands guard of the Nepata and only lets Harry (cat from next door) near it.

A lot of cats seem to love it Katarina from rolling in it to chewing it and it has several forms such as Nepeta x faassenii ‘Dropmore Blue’, Nepeta nervosa ‘Pink Cat’ , Nepeta cataria , Nepeta x faassenii ‘Snowflake’ and the other one that I have is Nepeta mussinii.
Makes me laugh Scottish whenever I go near it in the summer he stands guard over it.

Don't they just love it ? we have a visiting cat who spends ages eating ours and swatting bees off it ...
