Lilium Dimension...

It's incredible! I'm going to keep my eye out for those bulbs when they are available.

Me too....These are stunning Dd....are they in the ground or pots?.Mine are outgrowing their pots, and I'm thinking of replanting them in the ground next year.

You might know something about this A. I planted so e lily bulbs in a pot...nice and deep. They hardly grew at all, only two very short stems, about 2" tall with one flower on top. Today I dug them out and found they had gone mad underground producing loads and loads of bulbils on their underground stems. So I've planted them all in the soil. I know they will take years to develop, but I wondered if you might know why this happened and how to avoid in future!?

Karen sorry cannot help you, we have had exactly the same happen with our pink lilies, just one pot out of 5 odd!!

Thanks anyway! Glad it's not just me. I wonder if it's to do with our compost....too good...they don't want to flower, just reproduce!!

Could be, yet we used the same compost in all the other pots of lilies and they are. enormous this year. Will keep my ear to the ground K!!
