Hypercium Hidcote

I have some cutting of Hypericum taken from my daughters garden.....hope they flower as nice as yours!:-)

This is a flower I've always loved - though I've never actually grown it!

When our daughter was born we didn't have a name for a girl - we were expecting a boy! In those days there was no determination of sex before birth! We had to choose a name in the hospital & the image of this flower - Rose of Sharon - came to my mind! But knowing that if we called her "Rose", she would end up being know as "Rosie", I didn't like that idea! So we decided to call her "Sharon".

Iciar has raised her phantasmal head once again! I'm "Balcony" not "Iciar"! I posted the comment above not Iciar!

Lovely name for your daughter balcony, its a pretty flower isnt it, did you give her rose fora middle name....
you should try and grow one in a pot , in the spring they had these in pound shop, I bought one and its come along lovely, though not one in photo... :)
