Thank you H.bird and Amy..I really like this border,as it's the only shady one I have..I think that's why the roses grow pretty tall, searching for the light..I never gave that a thought when planting them years ago..mind you,I should have realised the Camellia would get bigger ..duh ! :o)

Another great combination Sandra, good to see the Astilbe is flowering, mine are in bud but havent opened much as yours yet,I like the heuchera sprays too very dainty! I have just trimmed my Camelia back as it was taking over in the front garden;0)

It is another very pretty 'mingle' (Ba's term used the other day and so appropriate!).

I only asked you two weeks ago if it was going to be a green one,Carole :o) I love it now it's opening up,and more so today in the warmth and sunshine..I have trimmed my Camellia back as well.Mainly because there were so many tiny black eggy looking things on the underside of all the new foliage, and they were distorting them all, turning them an odd shade of yellowy green? Sorry, that's a rubbish description :o) also hundreds of ants which appeared to be eating them,or could they be ants hatching? I took a photo when I first saw them,so maybe I should post it on Questions..It's a pretty gruesome close up..!

Thank you Chris,,I think I ,and someone else besides Ba has used the term 'mingle' on blogs or pics...It must be the in thing this year :o) I like that word,Lol.
