Honeysuckle against the bluest of skies!

Oooh, how lovely...can almost smell it! My honeysuckles have been very slow, and none of them has flowered...next year.....:)

Karen Honeysuckles are slow to get going here, but wow when they do they are beautiful the perfume is glorious. lol :O)

yes I love the perfume of honeysuckle. The Pink/red is a lovely scent but just not as good as the wild yellow one I have. When the wild one is out in the wood you can smell the perfume down the lane. Beautiful :O)

It isn't often you get a clear blue sky like that .its fabulous with the Honeysuckle !

Yesterday evening the scent seemed to fill the whole garden - a magical summer - so far!

I agree,it's a beauty..It's a plant I have never had.Do they need support with trellis,or would one scramble through my Ivy,and Pyracantha on my high stone wall ? mmm,you have set me thinking! :o)

I think that might just work Sandra. They do need something to cling onto but those two plants should be fine especially against a wall. Scent is so special on these hot summer evenings.

That sounds good,Chris..I shall give it some thought..and not buy on impulse,,which is the norm for me..:o)It does sound viable though..if I can find a space ! Lol..
