How wonderful to have roses at this time of year.....

I don't normally cut flowers for the house, but as I must half-prune the roses ASAP, I thought I'd rescue these little beauties. :-)

Ay up Barbara, they look lovely. On Thursday I was surprised to see my ivy flowers covered in wasps and yes, I still have some roses. I cut off the dahlia Art Deco flowers a few days ago for the house as I don't think they would have survived the chill:-)

Lovely to still have the roses out. One of my climbers is full of flowers at the moment. There are still a lot of insects about and my fatsia has a huge display of flowers that they visit too.

I haven't seen any butterflies for about a week, but yes, quite a lot of insects still.
